Last week, we had to pass on the sad news that our dear colleague Tom Dale passed away peacefully following a short illness, not Covi-19 related.
Mr Dale joined our English department in 2005 and there are countless students who benefited from his skill, support and inspiration, as well as very many staff members who counted him as a very special colleague.
We look forward to a time when we can come together to mark Mr Dale's unique contribution, and our immediate thoughts are naturally with his family at this sad time.
But as a mark of our respect, we'd also like to offer everyone the chance to post memories of Mr Dale, whether he was your teacher, colleague or friend.
